(Cover) - EN Showbiz - Javier Bardem regrets pulling a stupid face when he met his movie idol Jeff Bridges.

The Spanish actor, 41, came face to face with Hollywood icon Jeff, 61, at the 83rd Academy Awards Nominations Luncheon which took place at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles earlier this week.

The event offers a chance for stars nominated for a prestigious Oscar prize to meet each other. Javier who is nominated in the best actor category for his role in Biutiful - regrets not making a better impression on Jeff, who has been recognised for his performance in True Grit.

I had the chance to meet Jeff Bridges, which is one of my favourite actors ever, he gushed in an interview with Extra. I was just like, with a stupid face, Oh hello.

Javier wasnt the only star to get starstruck at the sight of Jeff, who won last years best actor Oscar for his portrayal of Bad Blake in drama Crazy Heart. Jennifer Lawrence, the 20-year-old actress nominated in the best actress category for her role in Winter's Bone, was equally overwhelmed.
