Anurag Kashyap's magnum opus, 'Bombay Velvet' could not make upto the mark and has shown no growth in its day 2 collections which are set to be around 5.25 crore making the weekend collection of the film.

Anurag Kashyap too recently took to facebook saying about his ambitious project and praising his team despite the fall of the film.

Taran Adarsh, a film analyst called the opening of Bombay Velvet, a disaster on his social networking account and compared the film with Ranbir Kapoor's 'Besharam'.

Bombay Velvet's comtemporaries, 'Piku' and 'Gabbar' are doing well in multiplexes and single screens respectively.
